Have you ever wondered what models wear off-duty? Where do they buy clothes and accessories, how do they maintain their spotless look?
New Fashion Studio section features the most interesting pieces from models' closets: clothes, shoes, and accessories. Shopping tips and beauty secrets. Have a look and get inspired!
KAMARA - London, UK
FASHION STUDIO: Where do you usually buy your clothes? Which shopping spots in London would you recommend?
KAMARA: I love to shop online, actually - eBay is fantastic for special items of clothing that are difficult to find elsewhere or particular pieces that have been knocked off in price. Otherwise I frequent Zara quite often. I pick up my designer pieces here & there whilst travelling or at Bicester Village and I love stealing vintage pieces from my mother's closet too.
FASHION STUDIO: How would you describe your style?
KAMARA: My style changes all the time, depending on mood, weather, event, etc. In the day time I would say casual chic and at night I turn a little vampier - I love to dress up. I would rather be overdressed than underdressed, any day.
FASHION STUDIO: What is your secret to looking so good? Diet, beauty routine, fitness?
KAMARA: Honestly, I tell everyone this (and I doubt most of them believe me) - walking. I walk everywhere, and fast. My legs are very well toned thanks to it. As for diet, I try to eat more brown pasta, chicken, fish and fruit. Probiotic yoghurt has been like yoga for my insides and I'm slowly trying to incorporate healthier veggie sides to replace the carbs such as potatoes!
