Useful Tips

When it comes to winter wardrobe, making the right choices is especially important as items such as coats or jackets usually come with high price tags. So how you should start your search for the perfect coat? First of all, look for quality. Some companies offer affordable wool options instead of cheap acrylics that won't keep you warm.

Women's coats available at Prestarrs website are comfortable and offer enough room to wear layers underneath. While having skinny arms may sound tempting at first, being able to fit a warm sweater under your coat is crucial during chilly winter days so you should pay attention to the cut of your coat.

Depending on your height and body type, you should buy a coat that looks good on you and is suitable for your figure. For example, if you are slim and short you should avoid maxi coats as they will make you look too heavy. If your figure is curvy and a little fuller, make sure your coat isn't too small and opt for something simple instead of many layers of fabric.

"Knowing exactly what you're looking for in terms of what suits your body best (calf-length, knee-length, hooded, collared, double-breasted, tie-waist, button-up etc.) will ease the process by eliminating a swath of coats that don't suit," - says Kat George from Bustle.

If you are not sure which model you should choose, prioritizing warmth over trends is a decision that you won't regret. Feeling comfortable during cold weather makes a huge difference to your overall mood and these days it's not difficult to find a stylish coat that will also be practical and warm. Don't forget about little but important details such as pockets where you can tuck your hands in case you forget to take your gloves with you.

"You can probably get through December in an on-trend coat that's only moderately warm. You can probably convince yourself that January is OK, if you can just get through it. But by the time February rolls around and it's still below zero, no fashion on earth is going to be worth how cold you are every time you leave the house. (...) NEVER sacrifice the potential for a little extra warmth for something that's going to be out of fashion in another six months," - says Kat George in the same article and we couldn't agree more.

Last but not least, buying a suitable coat or jacket doesn't have to be very expensive if you find the right place to shop such as Clothes for cheap. Happy shopping!
