MBFW: RENA LANGE SS 2012

Rena Lange presented his collection on the second day of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Berlin. Artistic brushmarks with the powerful colours of the Jardin du Luxembourg. Playful and happy like the "Demoiselles de Rochefort". Parisian attitude with a French lightness and elegance. The collection was inspired by Catherine Deneuve in the pictures of David Bailey and the films of Polanski, Bunuel and Truffaut. Beautiful, icy and seductive.

MERCEDES-BENZ FASHION WEEK: DAY 1

MICHAEL SONTAG
Michael Sontag continues to break through the set parameters of fashion, allowing his work to develop with clarity from his previous seasons. Detached from trends, age and seasons, Michael has created a wearable collection for the elegant, confident and sensual woman.
DIMITRI
The Spring/Summer 2012 collection emphasizes old-school elegance with a slight erotic touch. The designs are as elegant as they are wonderfully feminine.
CES'T TOUT
Flowing and flattering textures partially mixed with crochet and drenched into fresh colours trap us into its allure. The collection is electric, injecting a "French Riviera Breath" and realistic elegance into the designs.
KARLOTTA WILDE
Karlotta Wilde understands how to use her subtle but yet powerful sense of colour and keeps the palette neutral. The fact that the designer used drapey fabrics like georgette, cotton jersey, in contrast to stiff, ribbed cotton, crashed leather or solid silk, contributed to the collection's fresh, futuristic but still feminine and eminently wearable look.
STRENESSE BLUE
Strenesse Blue fits perfectly in Berlin's style: easy, thoughtful, amusing and full of depth.
ESCADA SPORT
The Escada Spring/Summer 2012 collection is inspired by Marrakech, Morocco's most urban oasis. Colourful geometrics, mosaics, bright silk textiles and glimmering jewellery delight the eye.
BASLER
The Spring/Summer 2012 collection offers a firework of colours, innovative materials and new cut. Femininity is of utmost importance. The collection also features evening wear for the first time. Basler is set to offer perfect fashion for all occasions in the year 2012.
DIESEL
For Spring/Summer 2012 Diesel presents a new, foundational female collection dedicated to a grown-up woman - brave, sexy and playful.

MBFW: LENA HOSCHEK SS 2012

Lena Hoschek showed her designs on the first day of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Berlin. The collection, as usual, is highly distinctive and clearly far from the dictates of fast changing trends. Girly dresses, hats and hair accessories create a romantic, yet confident and sophisticated look. Vintage inspirations and a ladylike class. Designer's website: Lena Hoschek.

When Lena Hoschek launched her own label in 2006, she was only 24 years old. Today, only five years later, the Austrian designer has already established an international reputation.
For the fifth time now she presents her collections at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin. Lena Hoschek’s Spring/Summer collection 2012 radiates the pure lust of life. Inspired by Italian folklore and the blazing femininity of women like Gina Lollobrigida or Sophia Loren. Bright colored embroidery, braided straps and black lace give the skirts and dresses a touch of nostalgia, while evoking a southern charm. Although Lena Hoschek stays true to the feminine silhouette of the 50s, this season she astonishes with strong color contrasts and voluminous, long dresses.
