Swimwear Trends for Summer 2019
Hello ladies, or should we say Aloha? Yes, summer is just around the corner, and before we opt to get our laser hair removal and while we are working hard on getting our summer bod on, it’s time to think about the swimwear trends that are going to dominate the beaches this summer. There are so many different styles out there, and all of them are simply gorgeous, but we have to choose one, two or three that we will rock. Apart from choosing the style that fits us the best, we should also take into consideration the trends of 2019. These are the most important swimwear trends for this summer, and going with any of them equals success!
Sustainable

Sustainability has been one of the biggest trends in the past two years, and it’s here in 2019 as well. More and more swimwear labels are launching ethically and sustainably produced swimwear, so it’s going to be quite easy for you to choose a swimming suit that fits this description. Even though it’s still a trend, it is believed that sustainability will become a norm over the next several years.
Leopard pattern
It’s quite impossible to leave your house and fail to see a leopard-patterned piece of clothing. Leopard has been seen on runways for several seasons now, and it seems that swimwear in this pattern is going to be huge this year. If you want to be special, you might want to try a leopard-print piece with a solid separate, but if you’re not scared of this pattern whatsoever, you might go for a one-piece leopard swimsuit and get ready for all the compliments you will get.
Shapes

Shapes are, once again, very important. However, this year is a bit different, as crazy shapes will not be very popular. For example, triangle bikini tops are always very fashionable, and it’s going to be like that this year as well. Just like a little black dress, a girl cannot do without a fashionable triangle bikini this or any other summer. It is also a great piece if you want to have a bold swimsuit for certain days, so when you decide to go a bit low-key, you might opt for something ordinary yet classic.
High-cut
You might have noticed that the high-cut trend has been around for several seasons now, but it was not such a big deal. However, 2019 is completely different, and you will see more of this trend on the beaches. This style is designed to elongate and lengthen your legs, which means that it’s an excellent garment to have with you this summer.
Cut-out one piece

According to Cosmopolitan, another great trend are cut-out shapes which center on the midsection and the chest. The most popular cut-out shape is the diamond, and you can easily picture them cut out of your waist or your chest. Even though the tan lines are going to be a bit unusual, it’s definitely worth it, as this style can accentuate your figure in the best possible way. For all the bold ladies out there, you might want to try with cleavage cut-outs or bottom windows.
Metallic
Just like the retro style has been extremely popular for quite some time now (can we get away from the polka dots just a bit?), the 2000s are back. Even though this was the most unusual fashion decade with so many failures, we are pretty excited that the metallic swimwear trend is here once again. The metallic textures and the shine will definitely accentuate your sexiness and celebrate your time out in the sun and in the sand.
There are so many different styles that you can choose from, and it’s going to be quite impossible to settle for one, perhaps even two or three. However, try them all out and see which style and color fit you the most!
