A freelance designer Mim Mak Chuen Chi won two awards in a prestigious Young Designers' Contest 2012 that took place during Hong Kong Fashion Week this evening. She was the winner in Party & Evening Wear and in the overall category.

ABOUT THE COLLECTION

The designer's passion for diving and dancing inspired this collection. A novelty material for party wear neoprene's sturdiness can create striking shapes, especially when mixed with soft chiffon. The resulting outfits are figure-hugging and exaggerated. The black and fluorescent-yellow colours create strong contrast.
