Oslo Fashion Week, a four-day celebration of fashion, starts in the Norwegian capital today. The official opening is divided into two parts, one for the press at 19:00 and second for the general public at 21:00. There will be two main catwalk shows taking place tonight: OFW Norwegian Design Show and The Look Book Show. The evening will end with a display of the collection of this season's newcomer, Tonje Jakobsen. The winner of the OFW and Who's Next Design will also be announced.

In addition to this season's newcomer, the following designers will be showing their collections on the main runway: Anita Leer, Huldra Clothing, Kristine Vikse, Lillunn Design of Norway, Lilleba AS, Norwegian Couture, Soyaaulait, TSH, Venti Uno and Wiksén.

Oslo Fashion Week was established in 2004. Each season OFW presents 20 - 40 designers' collections over 4 days. The venue is placed in central parts of Oslo and also includes lectures, seminars, kick-offs, releases and parties.
