FASHION TRADE SHOWS - COPENHAGEN

Copenhagen, Denmark - This August Gallery will have a record number of exhibiting brands and designer catwalk shows. It will be the strongest selection of the 100 leading Scandinavian designers ever seen under the same roof. 

Among the new Scandinavian exhibitors at Gallery this time are BLK DNM (Johan Lindeberg), Odeur, Foreign Affairs (Maria Meilgaard), Johanna Pihl, Wood Wood, Kristensen du Nord, Hunky Dory and H&M design winner Stine Riis. 

Among other new exhibitors are Billionaires Boys Club, Levis Vintage, Levis Made and Crafted, Liebeskind, YMC, Ice Cream, B-Line by Mark McNairy, Lagom, Folk, Edwin Jeans, Indigo Farrah and French Connection -who are also doing a catwalk show at Gallery.

Among the international designers showing at the Gallery Showscene are Swedish designer Johanna Pihl, Stylein and Odeur, Norwegian designer Friture and the London based Danish born designer Peter Jensen. 

This year Gallery Showscene is celebrating 125 designer shows since it began five years ago. Previous designers who have showed at Gallery include Jill Sander, Marimekko, Cheap Mondays, Anne Sofie Back, Preen and Henrik Vibskov.

Brands of the world
This August 2012 Gallery will have a record number of 340 brands from 20 different countries. Gallery will furthermore present 14 designer shows from four different countries.

Buyers of the world
Liberty, Harvey Nichols, ASOS, Net-a-Porter, Urban Outfitters, Mr. Porter, LuisaViaRoma, Harrods, Colette and thousands more buyers have already confirmed their arrival at Gallery. Furthermore a number of Chinese buyers have also confirmed their attendance. This is the first step in a major cooperation between Gallery and the Chinese Fashion Industry. Both www.gallery.dk and www.cfw.dk are now available in Chinese. 

Powered by wind
In 2007 Gallery was the first fashion fair in the world to be CO2 neutral. Improving on this trend, Gallery Int will now be entirely driven by energy derived from windmills.
