One Fine Day with Bobbi Brown

BANGKOK - Hosted on Friday, November 23rd at the luxury Emporium Shopping Complex, Bobbi Brown’s smoky eye workshop opened for the customers who wanted to participate in a mini workshop with Bobbi Brown’s makeup artists. This time I also had a chance to try the latest holiday collection 2012 “Carvier & Oyster”.

As one of the makeup artists told me at the beginning: “With this new collection, I’m going to change this runway look to the real you!”

During the workshop, I met two amazing makeup artists, first Mr. Tiwa Wongruk, who had trained with Bobbi Brown herself in New York City and Mr. Boy, the young-gen makeup artist with more than five years of experience in the cosmetic industry.

  • Prepare the skin with Hydrating Face Tonic, Eye Repair Cream, Extra Repair Serum and Illuminating F.B. SPF 25 PA++
  • Apply the concealer and BB Cream
  • Add Skin Mineral Powder (medium color for my skin tone)
  • Colorize the cheeks with Pot Rouge Powder Pink Blush
  • Apply Sandwash Pink Lip Gloss
  • Apply the eyeshadow
       - all over: KOHL CAKE, smoky eye liner

All Bobbi Brown’s products for my makeup

After one and a half hour, one thing that caught my attention was their service-minded attitude. I was really impressed because it made me feel like they are truly makeup artists. With just one look, they were ready to select colors and products that suit me. They added the colors on my face little by little just like painting an exquisite piece of art. Besides, they provided all the answers concisely and correctly. I didn’t even have to ask any questions because they had told me everything I wanted to know since the beginning.

“The key to perfect look is strong and powerful smoky eyes. You just have to focus on your eyes while keeping your lips and other parts simple. Sometimes you don’t even have to use an eye liner because the color of the eye shadow’s already stood out. If you want to look more glamour, just add shimmer all over you eyelids, that’s all. Don’t put everything on your face, you are still young, so there’s no need to look older than your age. Just keep it simple and flawless.” - said Mr. Tiwa.

I can say that almost two hours of this workshop is really worth it. Not only the makeup artists transformed me with the gorgeous look, but they also improved my makeup skills which I can now apply with my every day makeup.

Thank you so much Bobbi Brown Emporium for the wonderful workshop, I really appreciate it :)
