BANGKOK - Have you ever experienced that frustrating moment when you spend hours packing clothes and belongings just to go on vacation? You put your favorite emerald sweater in your suitcase then take it out 10 minutes later...

Actually, precise information about your destination and a practical fashion concept can really make your life easier, especially when it comes to a festive season. Styling tips and wardrobe ideas are some of the necessary matters that I'm really concerned about. I always read magazines and randomly look through lookbook.nu with a high hope of new creativity ideas, but it’s quite challenging since there is a broad range of styles to focus on.

However, I have got a lot of inspiration from the recent event that I attended: “Siam Paragon Fashion Voyage” hosted by DELL Corporation (Thailand) and 360 Pano Khaoyai on November 23, 2012 at Siam Paragon, Bangkok.

The large space in front of Chanel and Louis Vuitton was transformed into the stunning fashion stage, in order to display the brands’ products and showcase the latest trends for the upcoming party season and year-end trips. The show featured world-class fashion labels such as Aigner, Bally, Burberry, Canali, Chloe, DVF Diane Von Furstenberg, Emilio Pucci, Hermes, Hugo Boss, Jimmy Choo, Kenzo, Longchamp, Mandarin Duck, Salvotore Ferragamo, Tod’s and YSL.

The avant-garde runway show was held under the concepts of :

Jet Set Shopper - The combination of smart leather and contrasting dark-toned material like black, grey or navy-blue wool. Boost up the noble look with simple accessories and elbow gloves.

Exotic Traveler - Gorgeous graphic, African inspired prints with wide variety of colors such as yellow, chocolate brown, camel, green and tangerine.

Winter Cruise - Floral and graphic prints paired with big shades, ankle boots, printed scarves and elbow gloves for the perfect elegant cruise look.

Snow Party - A sexy touch of softy fur and sparkling sequins for party night out. The contour dress with sheer sliced cuts comes with colors of black, red, white and gold. Add more glittering accessories for more fabulous.

And apart from the grand fashion show, guests and fan clubs were able to meet and greet their favorite idols in person because there were lots of well-known celebrities, actors and actresses taking part in the runway show: Vatanika Patamasingh na Ayudhya, Kanachai Benjarongkul, Orn-arpa Poonsapmanee, Apinara-Pimpayap Srikarnchana, Varit and Tanos Hongsananda, Mark-Prin Suparat, Film- Rattapoom Tokongsup, Poo-Praiya Suandokmai, Min-Pechaya Wattanamontree, KPN singers Bie Tassapark Zee and Bank-Prattanawit Karitpooripark.

Thus, if you are thinking about going on a trip this Christmas or New Year, either it will be in the center of fashion like Paris or Milan, exotic place like South Africa or even the luxurious touch of star cruise, you can definitely have a wardrobe plan up ahead. For a glamour look, you can pair the short little black dress with puffy fur and pearl earrings. Or match black leather jacket with shiny disco pants and a few accessories just like the style of Jet Set Shopper!
