6 DAYS IN OTTAWA: Day 4

Discovering Local Fashion

OTTAWA - Fourth day of our stay in Ottawa brought a lot of interesting discoveries. Not many people know that Canada's capital is actually a lively, hip and stylish city - but just like everywhere else, you need to know the right addresses.

A perfect blend of French and English, relaxed atmosphere, and super friendly locals make it a very special travel destination. The city has a lot of young and fun cafés, nightclubs, and some really great restaurants offering international cuisine - Italian, Lebanese, Asian, and South American just to name a few. You can also find a lot of art galleries, fantastic spas, beauty salons, and shopping centres.

We were pleasantly surprised by local fashion boutiques, both in terms of their merchandise and their interior design. Independent shops such as MILK, Workshop or Young Janes offer a wide selection of unique clothes and eye-catching accessories. They make it really easy to look not only fashionable, but also different than everyone else!

Fashion Studio Magazine will be featuring selected boutiques shortly. In the meantime, have a look at our sneak preview:
