What's the best way to spend a cold winter evening in Toronto? At the Spring/Summer 2016 fashion preview of course!

Last Tuesday, Fashion Studio Magazine attended an exciting Express event at one of Toronto's newest venues, Early Mercy, located at 540 King Street West. Organised by Brill Communications and featuring the most interesting pieces from Express Spring 2016 collection, the evening was a great mix of fun and fashion.

So what are we going to wear next season? Vivid colours such as red-orange and fuchsia, black & white stripes (yes, again!), and variety of prints and patterns. Gladiator sandals are still an important fashion statement, together with oversized hats and ultra short shorts. Have a look at the pictures below!

Our favourite SS 2016 trends: fuchsia, vivid red, black and white in various configurations, bold prints & patterns, gladiator sandals, hats, and short shorts.

About Express

Express is the must-have sexy, sophisticated fashion brand for work, the weekend, or going out. It’s what’s new and what’s now for young fashion-forward women and men. We started more than thirty years ago as an experiment – an offshoot of another successful retail concept. There was nothing but opportunity in front of us and we took it.

We aren’t inventors – there are so few of those in the world of fashion today – nor are we imitators, that is far too easy. At Express, we are innovators. We find inspiration and trends from all over the world and interpret them in a way that is uniquely Express. And we have become the preferred destination for the latest trends.
