Guide To: Wardrobe Decluttering

You open up the doors to the Wardrobe; glance at rows after rows of all the apparel that you have; fish out something old that you bought five years back; look it up and down and decide that yeah, I *could* keep that for another year. Then you close the doors to the Wardrobe, conveniently leaving it out of the spring cleaning agenda.

And when you purchase new clothing for the new season, you realise that the Wardrobe seems to be shrinking as the years go by. Not.

It's about time you get started on decluttering the Wardrobe if you're able to find yellowed stuff with stains on them. Trust me on this; clearing out your old clothes (with no regrets, of course) can actually be quite therapeutic... After all, where do the new stuff come, if the old ones don't go?

Here is a handy-dandy wardrobe decluttering guide that you can refer to if you need help deciding if you're gonna hang it, bin it or donate it.

Prep your state of mind and promise yourself that this year will be the year that you'll start off on a clean slate, leaving only apparels that are worth keeping in the Wardrobe. You'd be surprised at how much space you actually have for multiple rounds of shopping sprees.
