They say travelling in winter (especially in Europe or North America) may be not as great as during summertime when the weather is warm and sunnybut my recent trip to Prague proved otherwise.

Staying at the elegant Corinthia Hotel Prague made the whole experience so much better as the hotel has an excellent location atop one of Prague's hills with breathtaking, panoramic views of the city and just steps away from Vyšehrad metro station (Line C).

All in One

Corinthia Hotel Prague offers several dining and leisure facilities which makes it a suitable place for a longer stay without ever getting bored.

Their beautiful indoor pool, located on the 26th floor, offers unbeatable views of the city and it's hard to think about a better spot to escape the winter chill. After swimming, you can relax in a sauna or steam room, get your workout done in a fully equipped Fitness Centre, or opt for a relaxing massage at the Apollo Day Spa (which is open to the public as well; you don't have to be a hotel guest to use it).

Beauty treatments available at the spa range from hydrating facials to special anti-aging treatments which will leave your skin looking radiant and feeling refreshed.

During my stay at the hotel, I had a chance to try Hawaiian Lomi Lomi Massage - a wonderful therapy involving continuous, rhythmic pressure form the fingers, palms, forearms and elbows, resembling the feeling of soft waves moving across the body. Lomi Lomi massage removes a large amount of physical energy blockages and re-harmonizes the body. Highly recommended!

"Lomilomi goes far beyond massage, however; it also reflects the connection we have with the land (‘aina), the spirit guides or ancestors (‘aumakua) and the breath of life (aloha).

Lomilomi, sometimes called Hawaiian massage, is beneficial for many ailments and to increase spiritual energy and personal power (mana). The nurturing strokes are relaxing; however, one soon learns this work is therapeutic on all levels." - Source: MASSAGE Magazine

Other massage treatments available at the Apollo Day Spa include Reflexology Foot Massage, Lava Stones Massage, Thai Massage, Chinese Tui Na Massage, Swedish Massage, and Apollo Signature Massage which is a combination of the best techniques and is designed to fit your body’s needs.

"This is the Spirit of Corinthia. The way we value authenticity, the trouble we take on individual details, grounded with a style that's discreet rather than merely ostentatious. All of these are the little ways we try to make a big difference - just as craftsmen have always done through the ages." - Alfred Pisani, Founder and Chairman, Corinthia Hotels

Suite Life

If you book your stay at Deluxe City View Suite, you can enjoy access to the Executive Club which is definitely one of the highlights of the hotel.

My suite, located on the 16th floor, consisted of an elegant living room, separate bedroom with a large wardrobe, two bathrooms, and all the necessary amenities (including my own massage chair!) for a comfortable stay.

Dining In Style

Having several dining options available at the hotel is a dream come true. From Let's Eat, the hotel’s main breakfast restaurant, to The Grill featuring an impressive live cooking station, an award-winning Rickshaw serving Far Eastern cuisine, and finally Lounge 62 where you can enjoy afternoon tea, carefully selected handmade desserts, and expertly crafted cocktails as well.

Dining at the Executive Club Lounge located on the 22nd floor offers the ultimate VIP experience and together with the Apollo Day Spa and its swimming pool, it's one of the best features of Corinthia Hotel Prague.
