If you've been following fashion trends & predictions for 2023, you already know that lingerie and loungewear took centre stage in many runway shows all over the world. Elegant lace bras and stockings were not only made visible but they were an integral part of the outfit adding a touch of seduction and femininity to otherwise simple looks.
You may think that the underwear market is not affected by the changing seasons and fashion trends, but that’s not the case. Lingerie trends, like everything else in fashion, are sensitive to social events and cultural changes. While an emphasis on comfort was a dominant thing during the pandemic, other influences are now quickly taking over and making an impact on the way we see and use our underwear.

Let's have a look at some of the most popular trends for this year and some styling ideas how to make them work for you. This time we partnered up with an international bra & loungewear brand, HSIA, has have been featured in many prestigious publications and for the right reasons - their designs are stylish and irresistible.
1. Don't Hide It
"Wearing a killer set of lingerie underneath layers of clothing feels like having a secret superpower. What's interesting to see for Spring/Summer 2023 is the fact that lingerie is becoming the focus of the look. It is no longer supposed to be hidden underneath, but quite the opposite, you should display it with proud and confidence.

If you are new to this trend, start with brassiere-like undergarments in black with elegant multi-layered lace finishes. Pair them up with a jacket or blazer and add some trendy jewellery to finish up your look. 2. Invest in Bright Colours
One of the most popular colours of 2022, hot pink isn’t showing any signs of slowing down this year. Don't be afraid to experiment with vivid colours and different shades of pink. Or go for classic red which is super sexy and never really goes out of fashion. Bras for plus size women and minimizer bras that used to have very limited colour palette in the past, are now available in really gorgeous colours so take advantage of this trend while it lasts!

3. Try out Shapewear
Today's lingerie market offers so many possibilities to make you look and feel like a real star, flaunting a perfect figure underneath even the most tight-fitting dresses. Try a variety of bras for busted women to look stunning at your next event.
Loungewear-inspired underwear is proving to be hugely popular for effortless comfort that you can wear anywhere. Natural materials including 100% organic cotton, that is super soft and pleasant to wear, seem to be gaining in popularity every single season and this trend will continue to stay in 2023.
Neutral colour palette and simple design are the integral elements of the comfort trend.

5. Underwear as Outerwear
In 2023, we will continue seeing bras, bralettes, and bodysuits worn as tops and combined with a variety of other outfits such as cargo jeans, long silk skirts, bomber jackets, and shirts unbuttoned to the waist. This trend will be especially popular among younger crowd and you will see it featured on social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok a lot.
