Everyone deserves to take time off from daily life to relax and enjoy themselves. Unfortunately, planning a vacation is never easy. One of the most challenging parts of planning a trip is deciding where to go. Whether you’re traveling with friends or you’re going with your family and young toddlers, these vacation spots are sure to be memorable. So we’ve created a list of the best vacation spots to treat yourself to, consisting of breathtaking views and many activities to enjoy. Let’s get started! Here’s our list of luxurious vacation spots.


The Great Barrier Reef, Australia

The Great Barrier Reef is one of the most luxurious vacation spots for individuals who want to marvel at nature. Instead of spending your entire vacation napping on a luxury mattress, you’ll be in the water from dusk until dawn. The reef --spanning over 1,400 miles-- is so large that there’s something new to discover daily, including marine animals and plants.


Guana Island, British Virgin Islands

Relaxing is good for your health and well-being, so take a trip to Guana Island, a private 850-acre resort with no public access. Instead, you’ll fly into Beef Island and take the resort’s boat to Guana Island to enjoy a relaxing and peaceful vacation on the white sand beaches. If you prefer to be more active on vacation, you can enjoy activities like snorkeling, hiking, and taking yoga lessons. Guana Island offers an all-inclusive experience that includes cottages with three meals per day, a restaurant, and use of all the island facilities.


Bora Bora, French Polynesia

Turtle Island, Fiji

Turtle Island is a world-famous destination with blue waters and tons of beaches. It’s also incredibly exclusive and only accommodates a few couples at a time, making it the perfect location for a romantic getaway in the South Pacific. There are a total of 14 beaches, moonlit dinners, and activities like horseback riding that make this destination a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.


Ol Jogi, Kenya

Ol Jogi is a private ranch that offers a luxury African safari experience. It’s incredibly upscale with luxurious cottage suits. However, the main feature is the wildlife with black rhinos and elephants. There are also several activities, including walking with baboons and horseback riding.

Ultima Thule Lodge in Anchorage, Alaska

If you prefer to travel closer to home, consider spending your time in Alaska. At Ultima Thule Lodge, you’ll live in the remote wilderness with access to various outdoor activities and tons of wildlife, including luxurious amenities. At this all-inclusive luxury lodge, you’ll be 100 miles away from the nearest road, and the only way to get there is to fly. While it might sound like you’ll be dropped in the middle of nowhere, the lodge features tons of things to do, including spending time in the sauna and eating gourmet meals. Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle in Thailand

If you love camping, you might love staying in the great outdoors. This tented hotel takes glamping to the next level, offering luxury and tented accommodations in northern Thailand. There are also outdoor showers, hot tubs, and wonderful views of the Ruak River, mountains, and wild jungle.

The Great Smoky Mountain National Park is located in Tennessee and North Carolina and draws millions of visitors every year. Outside the park, you can visit Blackberry Farm, situated on 4,200 acres, with one of the best small luxury hotels in the country. Blackberry Farm has tons of activities, including fly fishing and hiking.

Cayo District, Belize

The secluded Cayo District is home to ruin sites, including the country’s largest Mayan ruin and ecological reserves. When visiting Belize, consider staying in the Blancaneaux Lodge, purchased and restored by legendary filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola. This luxurious getaway lodge has 20 dwellings situated in the jungle. They offer tours of orchids that grow in the area, or you can go on a trek through the Elijio Panti National Park.


Clayoquot Wilderness Resort, British Columbia
