Berlin, Germany Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin, the biggest catwalk showcase in Germany, is scheduled for 4-7 July 2012. For the Spring/Summer 2013 collections the shows will take place at Strasse des 17. Juni, facing the world famous Siegessäule monument. The designer collections will again be presented to the international industry audience in two different show spaces, a catwalk hall and a presentation space.

The last event has been a huge success and received a lot of international press coverage. This summer, there are even more designers taking part in this high-profile event. “The reason why so many designers present their work at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin is to seamlessly transition creativity into a sustainable fashion business”, says Peter Levy, Managing Director and Senior Vice President, IMG Fashion Events and Properties. “This important event within our global platform allows designers and brands to connect to the press and buyers in the on-site audience, augmented by IMG Fashion’s network of digital initiatives that extend internationally to consumers, giving them a virtual front row seat to their show.”
