In colours of french navy, black, white, red and other miscellaneous pops, Tristan’s spring summer 2015 collection was a fusion of professional and athletic looks with some direct inspiration from Greek mosaic tiles.

Light and airy shirts and skirts came in various prints such as the exotic jungle floral top; the black/white geometric short sleeve blouse with red daisies printed in columns; and the cheetah print fitted skirt. Mosaic prints were methodically printed along the length of beach pants and the center front edges of a collarless jacket.

Double layered blouses in french navy were dainty. White work shirts had coloured banding along the collar for added pep to a rather careful office appropriate item.

Raglan sleeves on the popular luxe sweaters were a signal of athleticism. So were the the elastic waist banded tennis skirts, in navy with princess line flares and a black and white print with a center box pleat.

The various blues were cool and calm. The athleticism was invigorating. The Grecian inspiration was escapism. The clean lines were welcomed. The professionalism was palpable, but the subtle zest in the collection could not be discounted.
