MONTREAL - Hotel Le Crystal is an excellent place for both business and pleasure. With central downtown location, day spa and health centre, fine dining, and state-of-the-art meeting facilities that cater to the highest level of international business, this stylish hotel offers best of both worlds.

Fashion Studio Magazine spent two wonderful nights staying at the Deluxe King Suite (905) in October 2014. With already cold temperatures outside, we couldn't wait to try the outdoor hot tub located on the 12th floor and offering impressive views of downtown Montreal (see below).

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

The five star experience starts with the moment you enter the hotel lobby - this stylish space features not only pieces of modern art and elegant fashion jewellery, but is also extremely well-designed. An elegant mix of traditional and contemporary furniture, lots of light and enough space to sit down and relax after a long day.

The convenient work area, situated in the lobby, includes computers equipped with touch screen monitors, a printer and a variety of daily newspapers to satisfy any business traveller. High speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire hotel.

Smiling reception staff offers excellent customer service and is very knowledgeable about the local area and the surrounding attractions (we did ask some tricky questions!).

An obligation to use your key card to access all guest floors offers extra security and peace of mind.

FASHION & STYLE

Hotel Le Crystal is located only minutes away from Montreal's main shopping area: Sainte-Catherine Street.

"Hit Sainte-Catherine Street at high speed as it offers about 15 km of intense shopping ground to cover. You’ll find almost every store imaginable along this main artery, and if that’s not enough, head below the street to the underground pedestrian network where some 1,700 shops open their doors, rain or shine – a great way to escape the elements while shopping your heart out. Sainte-Catherine Street is also home to a few of Canada’s most elegant and upscale department stores for those who love luxury."

Montreal's shopping scene is diverse and suitable for every taste, budget and need. Quebec's top designers such as Denis Gagnon and Philippe Dubuc are recognised for trend-setting looks and haute couture inspirations.

Except its proximity to the shopping centres and hosting various events such as social soirées, cocktails and jewellery launches, Hotel Le Crystal has even more connections with the fashion world. Their Facebook site features weekly ‪#‎FashionMonday‬ styling tips offering the readers an opportunity to get familiar with the latest fashion trends (see above). What a great idea!

131 SUITES

Our Deluxe King Suite was located on the 9th floor and featured large windows, separate living and sleeping area, kitchenette, large wardrobes, and spacious bathroom with rain shower and comfortable deep bathtub.

Ergonomic work desk with downtown Montreal view, ultra-comfortable chair and fast internet access were perfect for catching up with work. Beginning every morning with a delicious coffee from our in-room Nespresso machine was a real pleasure! :)

"Awarded Five Stars and Four Diamonds, the 131 suites at Hôtel Le Crystal Montréal are designed for unforgettably relaxing stays of a night, a week, a month or more. In fact, we do everything we can to make it hard to leave."

RELAX & REJUVENATE

After long days of shopping and sightseeing, having a large bathroom with both rain shower and comfortable bathtub was just great. Organic ONEKA toiletries (shampoo and conditioner, body lotion, soap, and bath salts) were pleasant to use and what's even more important - specifically designed to be gentle on the body and hair, yet highly effective - without added fragrances or colours.

For extra relaxation and beauty treatments there was nothing better then luxurious and cozy Amerispa located on the 12th floor, next to the saltwater pool and the fitness centre overlooking the city. A real oasis for both body and mind...

"Hotel Le Crystal puts you in the downtown epicentre of all. From the corner of Rene-Levesque Boulevard and de la Montagne Street, it’s all moments away: hockey games at the Bell Centre, trade shows at Palais des Congrès, rolling the bones at the Casino or simply soaking up the cobblestoned charm of Old Montreal."
