MIAMI - Saks Fifth Avenue is proud today to announce the opening of its newest store and third Miami location, Saks Brickell City Centre. The 107,550 square-foot full-line store, located in Miami’s financial district, offers a curated selection of both women’s and men’s categories, including several exclusive brands. An in-store open kitchen and marketplace—Casa Tua Cucina—is planned to open next spring.
“Saks Brickell City Centre marks our seventh new store this year, demonstrating Saks’ dedication to investing in the brick and mortar experience in our key markets,” said Marc Metrick, President, Saks Fifth Avenue. “Our third store in Miami deepens Saks’ dominance in the market, while at the same time is a distinct lifestyle destination for the downtown Miami customer.”
On Level One, customers can find cosmetics, apothecary and fragrance, featuring exclusive beauty brands such as EB Florals, ExNihilo and Kilian. Level Two houses women’s ready-to-wear, accessories, jewelry, intimates, swim and the 10022-SHOE salon, as well as the entrance into the brand’s renowned private shopping area, the Fifth Avenue Club. This location features a well-edited matrix of women’s designer ready-to-wear, including Proenza Schouler, Victoria Beckham, Stella McCartney, and Dries Van Noten, as well as footwear from Gianvito Rossi, Gucci, and Aquazzura, among others. Men’s categories, ranging from ready-to-wear to shoes to accessories, including Brunello Cucinelli, Isaia, Kiton, and Charvet, can be found on Level Three.

The store, designed by Saks in partnership with Jeffrey Hutchison & Associates, features a warm palette, accented with neutral tones, rich textures and unexpected pops of color. A three-story sculptural wall crafted by JP Metals Global unites the departments in the luxurious and timeless style Saks is known for. Both the second and third levels host bespoke hand-cast glass sculptures, which originate in Men’s on Level Three and cascade down to Level Two, weaving into the 10022-SHOE salon. The intricate design elements play off the clean, crisp lines of the overall store design.
Saks Brickell City Centre offers the best of Saks best-in-class service offerings. The Fifth Avenue Club on Level Two boasts three dedicated fitting rooms where expert stylists provide the renowned Saks private shopping experience. Level Three features a men’s lounge with two private styling rooms. The Saks at Your Service Mercedes-Benz sprinter—the ultimate mobile shopping experience—serves the greater Miami market, and brings Saks’ personal styling directly to a customer’s home, hotel or office. The new store will also boast two spa rooms, located on the Level One in cosmetics, for those in need of an indulgent beauty experience.
“Saks is a timeless and iconic brand and we could not have chosen a better partner to take center stage as Brickell City Centre's anchor tenant,” said Stephen Owens, president of Swire Properties, the developer of Brickell City Centre. “The way Saks has been able to seamlessly integrate its retail space within the greater context of Miami's dense Brickell neighborhood only furthers our vision of making Brickell City Centre a truly connected work, live, play and dine nexus.”

Coming in spring/summer 2017, an in-store fine Italian kitchen and marketplace, Casa Tua Cucina, from Miami and Aspen favorite Casa Tua, will open on Level One. Casa Tua Cucina will offer customers a distinctive destination to experience carefully curated Italian fare. Saks and Casa Tua will also open a more intimate restaurant on Level Three. Also next spring, John Allan’s—the premier men’s grooming club based in New York—will open on Level Three. The club will provide customers with hairstyling and shave services in a lifestyle environment featuring a bar and pool table.
The store is located at 81 SW 8th Street, and is open Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., and Sunday 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. Ramona Messore, a 20-year veteran of specialty retail, was named Vice President and General Manager of Saks Brickell City Centre last August. Emilio Pucci - Chunky-knit Merino Wool Sweater $1,080
Emilio Pucci's Fall '16 collection is inspired by mid-century skiwear. Knitted from satisfyingly chunky merino wool yarns, this covetable sweater is woven with the brand's logo in white. We like how the oversized drop shoulders balance the slightly cropped hem.
Emilio Pucci - Lamé-paneled Printed Silk-blend skirt $2,160
For Fall '16, Emilio Pucci Creative Director Massimo Giorgetti finds inspiration in Slim Aarons' iconic photographs of skiers in the '60s. This graphic runway skirt is cut from silk-blend twill that's printed with an alpine motif and spliced with a silver lamé front panel. Style it with an oversized sweater to echo the show look.
