NEW YORK - RVNG’s steady climb to the top of the fashion pyramid has been an inspirational journey for aspiring fashion designers everywhere, especially in Canada where the brand’s head creator and designer Jordan Stewart has proven she is a force to be reckoned with. Her impeccable detail to lines, fit, and simplicity of each garment are easy on the eye, wearable and has heads turning. Last year, Jordan debuted her latest fashion line The Dream Collection at NYFW 2020, displaying an empowering collection of all that glitters. Although it may not have been a traditional fashion week event having to go virtual for the first time for obvious reasons, it was still a dream come true for the designer to represent at such a prestigious event, and the Canadian fashion family was proud of her for it.
The Dream Collection displayed a series of power suits, cocktail dresses, formal gowns and wedding dresses in a rainbow of pastel colours with silk, glitter, sequins and metallics stealing the show, virtually and literally inspiring its onlookers. As each model graced the runway, each piece flowed continuously one after the other displaying an array of casual yet elegant creativity that anyone can wear. Whether it is a work meeting, wedding, cocktail event, vacation, or a girl’s weekend, there are quality pieces for everyone.
