"Experience the difference."

While browsing the shopping district in Bridgetown in search of some stylish spots to feature in the Fashion Studio, I came across a small boutique called D'Mood. The shop caught my attention straight away thanks to the really good merchandising and simple but interesting interior design.

Creativity and great use of space while showing their products, make D'Mood stand out from the crowd. The window display is carefully designed with taste and attention to detail, showing some of the new arrivals and best buys.

The boutique, started only a couple of months ago, sells not only clothes (colourful and sexy summer dresses), but also shoes and accessories - gorgeous jewellery and handbags.

Dionne Coppin - the owner - is probably one the friendliest people you can meet; offering professional and up-to-date advice when it comes to clothes and styling. Dionne describes her shop as "a bit of everything; sexy, attractive and cosy". So if you would like to "experience the difference", you should definitely mark D'Mood on your shopping map in Barbados...

LOLA - KAMPONG GLAM, SINGAPORE

Small clothes shop located at the back streets of Kampong Glam in Singapore. Pleasant interior design, elegant red carpet on the floor, interesting sculptures (check the wooden zebra on the last picture) and accessories.

LOLA has a great selection of women's fashion from cute little tops to elegant dresses. Prices are reasonable and even better during sales...

Very friendly and stylish staff. When I was there, the sales assistant was wearing a black dress that you can see on the picture below. It's a simple dress with a gorgeous detail in front and very interesting cut. It looks amazing!
