Every year, there are several trade shows taking place in different countries around the world. We had a chance to attend a couple of them and besides HKTDC World Boutique in Hong Kong and Fashion Exposed in Sydney, roomsLINK Tokyo is one our favourites.
roomsLINK, held twice a year in March and October, is regarded as the biggest event coinciding with Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week TOKYO. It brings together all aspects of the fashion world, including runway shows, exhibitions, parties, and trade shows. It is a must-see event for all fashion industry professionals – buyers, press, stylists, and photographers.
roomsLINK is not only a professional networking and business platform, but also a great place to get familiar with both emerging and established Japanese designers, and to spot the latest fashion trends. The event has a friendly, informal atmosphere and always features interesting fashion displays which makes it similar to visiting an art exhibition or a designer's showroom.

As a truly global event,
roomsLINK keeps getting better and better. The October edition was
focused on brand development and showcased more then 120 brands
including Christian Dada, alice auaa, HARCOZA, Tamaki Fujie, and CHERIE.
This season's event, held at bellesalle SHIBUYA GARDEN, attracted a lot of visitors, both local and international. After Tokyo, roomsLINK took place in Taipei (23-25 October 2012) and in Seoul (8-11 November 2012). Next event in Tokyo is scheduled for March 2013. Make sure to include it in your fashion calendar!
