Under the motto “Stars, Dots & Hearts” the new looks from the upcoming Autumn/Winter 2014 collections by Marc Cain were presented at an exclusive fashion show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Berlin.

Once again the front row was studded with illustrious guests: Elizabeth Hurley, Barbara Schöneberger, Minu Barati-Fischer, Frauke Ludowig, Natalia Wörner, Mareile Höppner and Natalia Avelon were all impressed by the looks of the upcoming season.

Nineties-style grunge combined with punk and biker details is the emphasis of the Autumn/Winter 2014 collections, enhanced with modern, feminine and luxurious elements.

“Fabulous! I really love the new collection! All is wearable, elegant, smart and perfect for every occasion. My favourite look is the long evening dress with backless cuttout and the “The End” embroidery”, said Elizabeth Hurley, who was fascinated by the modern style mix, expressing her enthusiasm to Karin Veit, Creative Director of Marc Cain, with plentiful praise.

“Today’s show has surpassed all expectations and with our performance we have sent out a clear signal of where the journey is headed: constantly and continuously onwards and upwards. Both our customers and the press have expressed major enthusiasm and we are confidently looking towards a successful Autumn/Winter 2014 season – which we have already got off to a very successful start!” said Helmut Schlotterer, Chairman of the Management Board and the founder and owner of Marc Cain.

When fashion and music come face to face, the tension is electric - like love at first sight. And rock is no exception. Press, customers and VIP guests were immersed in a very special fashion experience, staged as a rock concert with music by the hot up-and-coming band I Heart Sharks, providing the soundtrack to the vision of Laurèl's Head of Design Elisabeth Schwaiger.

Actors including Clemens Schick, Heino Ferch with his wife Marie Jeanette,Heiner Lauterbach with his wife Viktoria, Axel and Judith Milberg, Anja Kling, Stephanie Stumph, Lisa Tomaschewsky, Mariella Ahrens, Valerie Niehaus andCarolina Vera occupied the front row, rubbing shoulders with VIPs from the worlds of media, society and culture, among them Franziska Knuppe, Judith Rakers, Minu Fischer-Barati, Nadja Michael, Johanna Klum and Stefan Luca,Cosma Shiva Hagen, Martin Krug and Julia Trainer, Angela Lanz and Natascha Grün.

For the sixth time, designer Eva Lutz of the fashion label MINX presented her highlights of the Autumn/Winter collection 2014/15 at the Berlin Fashion Week on Wednesday, January 15th 2014.

As one would expect, the show was booked out to the last seat - like the shows before have been, too. But not only experts, fashion journalists und bloggers have been seen there. With a huge summoning of celebrities, the Minx show was above-standard. About sixty VIPs celebrated crowded together and cheerfully the new creations of the exclusive label: this time it is a fascinating interaction between severe and feminin styles with Britchic and Gentleman influences.

Cool and classy - that is how topmodels Franziska Knuppe and Luisa Hartema presented the new power-looks on the runway. Together with their colleagues Franzi Müller, Katrin Thormann and Svea Berlie they showed figure-accentuating blazers, voluminous blousons, modern oversize-coats an dresses in numerous varieties. A big suprise was Bruce Darnell excorting topmodel Franzi Müller on the runway for the opening of the Red Carpet collection.

The VIPs - from Sonja Kirchberger, Natalia Wörner, Allegra Curtis to Magdalena Brzeska and Jorge Gonzalez - were enthusiastic about the innovative styles and materials. The one or other piece already developped during the show to a must-have for the upcoming season.

Kaviar Gauche

It is meanwhile exactly a decade ago that Johanna Kühl and Alexandra Fischer-Röhler founded the fashion label Kaviar Gauche, pulling off their first coup in front of the entrance of the French department store "Colette", with their guerilla fashion show.

For their ten-year-anniversary the designers have chosen to celebrate with their new Autumn/Winter collection, aptly named "Celebrate Love". It is an expression of fashionable contrasts in which the complimentary poles of feminine and masculine elements, black and white, opulent and restrained, build on previous collections and culminate in a heightened form.

Oliver Lühr, Creative Director: "Achtland is intended to encapsulate the tension that arises in the play of opposites: for example in the formal elegance of a Victorian dress shirt paired with the femininity of silk-georgette or the strong architectonic silhouette found in our evening dresses."
