FASHION EVENTS - CAPE TOWN

CAPE TOWN - Fashion Studio Magazine selected best catwalk looks from Design Indaba Festival 2015 that took place from 20 February to 1 March. Our favourite shows included colourful designs by Adriaan Kuiters and a mixture of rural and urban influences by Thula Sindi.

ABOUT THE EVENT

The annual Design Indaba Expo is South Africa’s premier showcase of high-end African design, exhibiting the homegrown wares of all the creative sectors under one roof.

"We have so much diversity and culturally we have so much going on as South Africans. I think it’s time that South African brands start being proud of what we do and promote it on a global scale because nobody does it like we do it as South Africans," said designer David Tlale.
