You've applied for leave, booked your flight, reserved the hotels, and planned your itinerary. Now comes the difficult part: packing. To stay that much needed holiday - except for one thing: packing. This may even be the most stressful part of your trip, as it requires more precision than planning the itinerary!

So to simplify the packing process for you, we've narrowed down eight travel essentials that will streamline your suitcase and make your holiday as stress-free as possible. Bon voyage!

1. Slip Dress

This is arguably one of the most versatile piece of clothing you can bring. A slip dress can be worn various ways. Throw it on and pair with comfy sandals for a day of sightseeing, with a sweater for a lovely dinner, or even over your swimsuit for some cover up for an evening stroll on the beach.

2. Sandals

Love them or loathe them, slides are here to stay as a footwear trend this season. So hop on board this trend on your vacation and grab a pair. 3. Camera

4. (Chic) Jogger Pants

How do you bring the comfort of pyjamas into everyday life? Two words: jogger pants. These sloppy yet chic bottoms are not quite meant for the gym. 7. Headphones

Yes, headphones are a travel essential. There is nothing worse than being stuck in a long-haul flight with a wailing baby and no music to calm you down. Go for a statement metallic or embellished pair or a sleek design to jazz up your look - and make sure they are noise-cancelling!

8. Blanket Shawl

The temperature can really dip when you're flying at higher altitudes, so stay warm in the airplane with an over-sized shawl that can double up as a blanket. One in a lightweight or gauzy material will bring some much-needed warmth on chillier evenings too.
