ISSUE was established in 1999. The brand has a strong identity and a very distinctive style: lots of colours and geometric patterns. ISSUE clothes have been featured in many fashion magazines including Teen Vogue and L'Officiel Paris.

Roj Singhakul, the founder and designer of ISSUE, strongly believes in Dalai Dama's teaching: "Stopping is surrendering. Never give up, no matter what happens." His persistence and designing talent are for sure the main factors behind the brand's success.

CONCEPT

"Clothes are one of the basic necessities in our everyday lives. The clothes we wear represent our individual personality and character. They reflect our experiences, our beliefs, our views of the world and our desires."

PHILOSOPHY

"We believe in individualism and we cherish the diversity of every culture. Our collections swirl around the philosophical concepts of  'compassion' and 'never give up on love' which were inspired by the wisdom of H.H. Dalai Lama XIV.

Designer and founder, Roj Singhakul, strongly believes in the philosophy of good and bad karma and that the ability to equilibrate self perception and creativity can bring about human individuality."

ISSUE has currently four stores in Bangkok. I visited their beautiful boutique located in Siam Square Soi 3. Many items are currently on sale with a discount up to 50%. I was really tempted to buy at least a couple of items, but finally I opted for a colourful A-line dress that is perfect for the hot climate in Southeast Asia.
