Are you longing for a memorable trip where astonishing natural beauty, direct exposure to wilderness and luxurious accommodation are intertwined?

Glamping has really taken off because it has it all - the opportunity to reconnect with nature from the comfort of a rental tree house or a safari tent equipped with the latest amenities. The locations where you can have this type of accommodation are numerous. Check out these amazing places and take your pick.

Seeing the Welsh forest from a treehouse

Explore the ancient oak forest in Machynlleth during the day and then climb onto your eco-friendly treehouse with a rope bridge and have a comfortable evening in it next to a wood-burning stove, a Swedish compost toilet and spring water shower.

This lovely treehouse is very hard to notice but if you look closely, you'll notice hammocks hanging in the trees and candlelight shining through its tiny windows.

Even though there's no Wi-Fi or electricity in this floating treehouse, 4 persons will be more than comfortable in a hand-built wooden double bed and two more built-in bunk beds.

The treehouses are approximately 8 miles from the town of Machynlleth in Mid Wales, at the edge of the Snowdonia National Park. If you feel like enjoying the seaside at some point, the beaches are only 15 miles away.

Wellness retreat tucked inside a medicinal garden on Bali

Thick tropical rainforest in Bali is what many people think of when someone mentions eco-tourism. This part of Indonesia is blessed with various medicinal tea and herb gardens, and you can enjoy them while being in an eco-resort.

The resort is built out of recycled timber materials while the close by restaurant offers locally produced, raw organic meals created by Balinese nutritionists with the help of the local chefs.

Experience Ranthambore National Park in Aman-i-Khas in India

Even though they are referred to as tents, ten suites in Aman-i-Khas are probably more luxurious than most hotels you have had the chance to stay in. The tents are divided with cotton drapes, each one of them having a bedroom, living room and a bathroom equipped with a shower and a bathtub.

The resort is on the edge of the park, surrounded by wild animals such as crocodiles, leopards, tigers and a few hundred types of birds. Expeditions by sea and air are also an option if you choose to see the wild beauties in a unique way.

Near the sea in CampSilver Island HideAway in the Netherlands

The camp is located in a truly breathtaking area. You'll be situated just a few steps from the sea, surrounded by magnificent dunes. It's a perfect spot for escaping the bustling noises of a city. You can choose between a caravan, a trailer, and a tent.

All of the options are equipped with necessities and reflect the futuristic design - a flat-screen LED, free Wi-Fi, and floor heating, together with modern design bathrooms and luxury beds, some of them even offering a sauna. When you wake up early in the morning to watch the sunrise, there will be organic breakfast waiting for you in the saloon of the farm.

Glamping in the wine region in Wingtons, Tasmania, Australia

For those who want to enjoy nature, good wine, and amazing Tasmania food, a luxury tent on the banks of the Tamar River is the best choice. Get tickets to Tasmania and get to Clarence Point where Wingtons Glamping is located. Right in the heart of the Tasmanian wine region, the site allows you to spend your day touring the vineyards and then go back to one of the safari-style tents equipped with Persian carpets and steamer trunks. If you need a reason to visit Australia, this is it.

Each of the three tents is powered with solar energy and offers a private bathroom and an outdoor kitchen where you can have a barbecue just like the locals do. The tents are incredibly comfy, with king-size beds and wood heaters.

In the heart of Marche, there is a stunning organic farm that gives you the opportunity to sleep under the stars and admire the sky unspoiled by the city lights. And do you do it and still feel warm and comfortable? Well, you'll sleep in a transparent tent that allows you to also see every shade in colors of the rising sun.

Whether you’re with your partner or on a solo holiday, this is a place for true relaxation and reflection.
